I came to yoga in the midst of a very challenging time in my life – in the throes of disordered eating and with back pain due to scoliosis. I not only fell in love with yoga movement and meditation, but also yoga philosophy. I especially was drawn to the possibility that nothing was inherently wrong with me. That in the midst of challenges, there was a deeper “me” that was whole and complete as I am. And that this inner wholeness could be felt, related to and was in connection with something much bigger and vaster than myself. This understanding has kept me on this path throughout the years.

The beauty was that I didn’t have to think my way to this. Yoga offered a vast array of practices and perspectives to continue to deepen this understanding in a deeply embodied way. It’s something I can feel and know deeply in my being. And along the way I found relief for my back pain, ways to navigate challenging emotions, and better relationships. Over the years it has helped with many aches and pains, hormonal transitions, and even dental visits!
My inward journey led to sharing with others through the years. It’s been a wonderful, rewarding journey to support others on this path. I am filled with gratitude every day.

Wednesdays, July 24 – September 4, 2024, 10:00 – 10:45am // At their roots, both IFS and Yoga Nidra begin with the understanding that we are whole and complete as we are. In this series, we continue to explore their interplay to support a deepening connection with Self.
Dates and time: TBD // With IFS we come into relationship with different parts of ourselves. Through this process we come to experience a deeper sense of Self Energy and can move through our lives with greater ease.
Private sessions are an ideal way to begin a yoga practice, or to take an existing practice to a deeper level.
